letters of hope
– HOPE DELIVERED –
Writing hope. Inspiring courage. One letter at a time.
Letters of Hope is an initiative that sends heartfelt, handwritten letters to parents across the U.S. who have experienced an unplanned pregnancy.
These aren’t just letters. They are heartfelt words written by passionate pro-lifers who believe in speaking life and encouragement over parents facing an unplanned pregnancy. Each letter reminds moms and dads that they are seen, loved and not alone. It tells them that even in uncertainty, there is hope and a future for both them and their baby.
When a mom or dad receives a Letter of Hope at just the right time, it can bring reassurance and even the strength they need to keep choosing life.
Read Shariah’s story
When 19-year-old Shariah found out she was pregnant, she was told by many of her family and friends to get an abortion. She wanted to choose life for her daughter, but felt pressured to terminate her pregnancy. Her circumstance worsened when she got kicked out of her home, lacking support from her family and her baby’s father.
But after connecting with Unplanned Stories, Shariah found the courage to choose life! Pro-lifers across the U.S. contributed to her baby registry. And on top of that, they sent her letters of hope, encouraging her during her moment of crisis. Today, Shariah is a mom to a beautiful baby girl and building a brighter future for her family.
Stories like Shariah’s prove how powerful encouragement can be in helping parents choose life and find hope during their unplanned pregnancies. Your heartfelt handwritten letter can bring hope where there is fear, giving parents the reassurance they need to keep choosing life for their babies.

What is Unplanned Stories?
+
Unplanned Stories is a pro-life ministry that offers hope, encouragement and practical support to parents who are unexpectedly pregnant. We reach expectant parents through our pro-life stories and run fundraising campaigns to support parents as they embrace parenthood. We also bring our mission to life through our Letters of Hope initiative.
What inspired the creation of Letters of Hope?
+
Letters of Hope is an expansion of the work we’ve already been doing. Through our fundraising campaigns, we’ve learned that many pro-lifers can’t contribute financially, but they’re willing to pray and send a handwritten letter. This initiative is a great way to engage pro-lifers and transform their convictions into tangible, impactful actions.
Why does this initiative focus on handwritten letters?
+
The written word is heartfelt and personal, and our ministry has seen the long-lasting impact of handwritten letters through the parents we have helped.
Is there any cost in partnering through this initiative?
+
Your group doesn’t have to pay anything to receive handwritten letters for the parents you’re helping. Our ministry covers the costs of mailing.
If you’re sending a handwritten letter, you will have to pay for the cost of a stamp to mail your letter.
