help Vanessa & her baby

Vanessa is a mom of four who is now preparing to welcome her fifth son in November.
After seven years as a stay-at-home mom, Vanessa’s life was turned upside down by a recent breakup, leaving her to face this pregnancy and raise her children on her own.
This pregnancy comes with serious challenges. As Vanessa prepares for her fifth C-section, doctors have classified her pregnancy as high-risk, adding another layer of fear and uncertainty to an already overwhelming situation. Two of her sons — and this baby — are from her most recent relationship, making the separation even more difficult as she now faces this season without the support she once relied on.
“I have no job or anything in my name, no support system. I’m just lost in life and totally didn’t expect to be having another baby. Having a fifth C-section is high risk, and I’m really scared about that.”
Despite everything, Vanessa is taking steps forward. She is working with a case manager to find stable housing and access financial assistance, while also receiving support from our ministry.
As she prepares for a high-risk delivery and the arrival of her fifth child, Vanessa is facing an overwhelming financial burden trying to cover basic needs like housing, food, baby essentials and medical care while trying to rebuild her life.
Vanessa’s baby boy is due in November 2026, and your support during this time can make a lasting difference for her and her family!
Send hope today …

Baby registry
What a beautiful way to show up for this single mom than to gift her with items from her registry. Every purchase will help set Vanessa up for success as she prepares for the arrival of her baby boy.

GoFundMe
We are raising $700 to cover some of the high-cost items Vanessa will need during her baby’s first year — e.g. a swing, high chair, bassinet mattress, and car seat and stroller travel system. Any additional funds raised will go toward other items she needs for her baby.

Letter of Hope
Write a letter of hope to encourage Vanessa as she navigates her pregnancy as a single mom with four sons. Every letter will remind her she’s not alone in her journey and that people are rooting for her and her baby! Mail your letter by Aug. 7 and send it to: Unplanned Stories, PO Box 4674, Arizona City, AZ 85123. Please email Steven if you’re sending a letter so we can keep an eye out for it.

meal train
Every donation will go toward meals and groceries during her postpartum season so she can focus on caring for her newborn. Our goal is to raise $1,000 to cover food for her and her four children during the first few weeks after labor.
